Friends of Livingston County Animal Shelter is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization founded by several of the shelter’s regular volunteers in May of 2013. We saw a need to organize regular fundraising, education and adoption events for the shelter. And the best way to do that was through a "Friends” group.

We work in conjunction with the shelter director and staff, to support the positive changes that have transpired at LCAS and to keep the shelter moving forward in its mission to improve the lives and condition of companion animals in the county.
